I experienced my first earthquake since living in California. It was a good sized earthquake it was measured at 5.6. It centered a little north of San Jose. I never had felt one before and it was strange...the whole house was swaying back and forth and everything was rattling. It was pretty scary..it lasted a good 12 seconds!!
