The perfect aspect of this sketch revolves around the fact that a large portion of the dialogue is ACTUAL quotes from Palin! ACTUAL QUOTES! Palin's non-answer answers are funny without the help of SNL writers.
Thankfully the SNL writers did come into play with "I'd like to use a lifeline." "Katie, I'd like to phone a friend." Perfection!
